Not really. You can solve a cube after memorizing only five or six rote sequences. There are some additional sequences that the speed-solvers know that makes it more efficient, but not really necessary.
However, a completely blind person, even if he or she knew all the sequences, would find a traditional cube impossible, not just hard. I love the fact that this cube being all white puts the sighted person at a disadvantage.

Solving a brail rubik’s cube would be insanely hard.
